The Duluth Fire Department is issuing a Red Flag Warning for Park Point beaches effective immediately and continuing until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow.
A Red Flag Warning means that wind and/or wave conditions support deadly rip currents. Rip currents are life-threatening to anyone entering the surf. Everyone should stay out of the water regardless of swimming experience. There are currently no lifeguards at Park Point.
You will be notified if surf conditions improve before this warning period expires.
Surf condition flag locations are: 12th St beach, Lafayette Square, and Park Point beach.
