Lake Superior Rose Society Presents “Rose Show- Rose Fest” Saturday, July 13th

 

The public is invited to attend the Lake Superior Rose Society “Rose Show and Rose Fest” Saturday, July 13th. The Rose Show will be held from 6:30 AM-3:30 PM at Valentini’s Vicini Lago located at 1400 London Road. The day will begin with people entering their award winning roses. Judging will take place at 9:30 AM followed by open to the public viewing of the roses and the announcement of the “People’s Choice” award.

Rose Fest will also take place on Saturday July 13th from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM in the Leif Erikson Rose Garden located at1300 London Road. The public will be able to view the beautiful roses and flowers in bloom, learn how to select, plant, and care for roses.  Demonstrations of growing techniques, variety recommendations, and special tours of Leif Erikson Rose Garden will also be available. This event is free to the public.
