SUBJECT: City of Duluth Parks DECC Family Skating Party

City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Free Family Skating Party at DECC, Sunday November 29th from 3:00-5:00 PM "Skate with the Bulldogs"
It's time to get those ice skates sharpened. The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation's annual skating parties are here again and the first event is scheduled for Sunday, November 29th from 3:00-5:00 PM. The first skating party will feature an opportunity to skate with members of the UMD Bulldog men's and women's hockey teams. This event will be held in the DECC arena. All skating parties are free and open to all ages. Participants need to bring their own skates.
This is a great event for families. Music will be provided by Shelly's Mobile Music Machine. There will be free door prizes for the kids and Old Country Buffet will provide free cookies to all. DECC concessions will also be open during this time period.
The remainder of the skating parties dates are:
Saturday, December 26 from 3:00-5:00 PM
Sunday, January 24, 2010 from 3:00-5:00 PM
No February Skate
Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 3:00-5:00 PM
All skating parties will be held in the DECC Arena. For more information, call Parks and Recreation at 730-4312.
