SUBJECT: Warmer by the Lake Volunteers Needed

Volunteers Needed  for Warmer by the Lake on Wednesday, December 26, 2012

You can be a part of making holiday memories when you volunteer at the annual Warmer by the Lake event on Wednesday, December 26.

City of Duluth Parks and Recreation seeks 10-12 volunteers to assist with various projects during the celebration.  Volunteers will help visitors roast marshmallows, hand-out hot chocolate and cookies, and assist skaters in the warming house.

“Warmer by the Lake brings our community together, creating memories that can last a lifetime,” says Amy Norris, coordinator of the annual city event. “We are looking for a dozen individuals that are willing to give their time and energy to help make the event a success.”

Volunteers are needed from 1:45PM to 5:00PM.  Shifts are available from 1:45-3:45PM and 3-5PM.  This opportunity is available to individuals who are in high school or older.  Families are also invited to volunteer together for this event.
