Bentleyville Transformation Begins at Bayfront: Volunteers Needed

It may feel like fall outside, but it will soon start to look a lot more like Christmas at Bayfront Festival Park in Duluth. The Bentleyville Tour of Lights is a massive free annual family holiday light show, complete with Santa, the tallest Christmas tree in the Midwest, holiday music and fire pits for roasting marshmallows. Approximately 200,000 people visited the display last season. This year, the display opens on Novmmber 17th and will illuminate Bayfront Festival Park until December 26th. Such an event takes a tremendous amount of volunteer power as well! Anyone who is able to
lend a hand with set-up is encouraged to stop down to Bayfront Park
starting on September 29th, thru October 21st from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and from 8:00 am-4:00 pm every Saturday and Sunday. Lunch is served compliments of a local restaurant. Volunteers are also needed every Wednesday from October 3rd thru October 17th. 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm from 5:00 pm -8:00 pm.

Hundreds of volunteers are needed to set up the holiday "magic. Volunteer preregistration is not required.  Volunteers need to be at least 18 years old to help out. No experience is needed.  Simply stop down at Bayfront Festival Park and be assigned to a project. Groups over 5 please contact Mary at  218-740-3522 or e-mail mary@bentleyvilleusa.org.
