Public Invited to Parks and Recreation Dedications (Sept 19th and Sept 20th)

 

Groundbreaking Ceremony Planned for new "Bob Pratt Pavilion at Jean Duluth Soccer Field: September 19th

A ground breaking ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 19th at 5:00 PM for the new Bob Pratt Pavilion. Soccer volunteers along with city officials will break ground for the long anticipated addition to one of Duluth’s most used soccer complexes. The Jean Duluth Soccer Complex is located at the intersection of Jean Duluth Road and Riley Road.

 

Public is Invited to "New" Lakewalk Park Ribbon Cutting: September 20th

The public is invited to the ribbon cutting of the new park located at the corner or Lake Avenue and the Lakewalk on Thursday, September 20th beginning at 11:30. With the holding tank completed construction began this summer on the new park located on top of the structure. The new park will host one of the most beautiful vistas on the Lakewalk. Join community members, city officials and others at the dedication ceremony. To access the park you may enter through Lake Place Park or park near the Endion Building and take the stairs to the park.
