29th Annual Chester Bowl Fall Festival fun for the whole family.
 

(DULUTH, MN) - Celebrate fall in Duluth at the 29th Annual Chester Bowl Fall Festival on Saturday, September 15th from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM in beautiful Chester Bowl Park. It is a fun day for the whole family. Enjoy fresh local produce, local artisan crafts, tasty seasonal foods, and other offerings from over 100 vendors. Children will enjoy a bounce house, face painting & other activities. One of the most popular attractions is the farmers market, with fresh caramel
apples, sweet cider and locally grown sweet corn. The park stage will feature live music ongoing throughout the day. Acoustic folk/rock performer Greg Tibirzi will play from 10am-noon, followed by Matt Wahl from noon to 2:00 PM and Doug Greenwood from 2:00-4:00 PM. There is no admission fee, but a suggested donation of $2, with all proceeds going to support flood recovery for the youth ski program at Chester Bowl. Due to the popularity of the festival, to help with parking, two shuttle buses will run from 9:30 to 4:30 PM from UMD’s Darland Administrative building parking lot to Chester Bowl, transporting people free of charge.

ABOUT CHESTER BOWL PARK AND THE CHESTER BOWL IMPROVEMENT CLUB: Chester Bowl is a beautiful 117 acre park in Duluth, MN. In the winter the Alpine Hill, with a double chair lift and 175 feet of drop, handles up to 960 skiers per hour. During the summer the park has many exciting programs and concerts. It also features beautiful hiking trails, fishing and soccer fields. The Chester Bowl Improvement Club is a not-for-profit organization that
facilitates and promotes sustainable quality programs for all Chester Bowl Park users in a healthy and safe environment.
