Parks and Recreation Flood Related Announcements
City of Duluth Parks and Recreation would like the public to be aware of the following information:
The Park Point Beach will be closed this weekend due to water and beach conditions. We will inform the public of the beach reopening after we have reassessed the situation on Monday, June 25th.
The Chester Creek concert will go on as scheduled. The concert will be held at Chester Bowl on Tuesday, June 26th featuring the Pot Bellied Stallions.
The Bayfront Family Center will be closed for the next two weeks to allow Park Staff the opportunity to assess our park and trail damage due to the flood.
The following trails are closed for public use: Kingsbury, Congdon, Chester and Mission Creek Trails. All COGGS mountain bike trails are closed until June 29th. We ask people to refrain from using the trails due to the extreme wet conditions. The bike trail at Irving Community Center is also closed.
