Parks and Recreation Invites Public to Attend Mini Master Plan Meetings
The public is invited to attend the Parks and Recreation Brighton Beach, Lower Chester, Gary/Stowe and Morgan Park Mini Master Plan community meetings on the following dates. The purpose of these meetings is to bring together city staff and community members to create their own park master plan which will serve as a guide for changes and park improvements in the future. This planning process is in accordance with the Parks Master Plan which was adopted by the Duluth City Council. We encourage everyone to attend these meetings.
Mini Master Plan Meeting Schedule:
Lower Chester - Public meeting to be held on Thursday, July 12th at 6:00 PM in the Lower Chester Community Recreation Center located at 1417 East 5th Street
Brighton Beach - Public meetings to be held on Thursday, June 14th at 6:00 PM at East High School located at 301 North 40th Avenue East (Mezzanine)
Gary/Stowe - Public meeting to be held Monday, June 18th at 6:00 PM in the Fire Station/Community Center located at 1104 Commonwealth Avenue
Morgan Park- Public meeting to be held on Monday, June 18th at 7:30 PM in Morgan Park Community Recreation Center located at 1242 – 88th Avenue West
