SUBJECT: Turf Time at Heritage Sports Center

Parks and Recreation offers Turf Time at Heritage Sports Center

Parks and Recreation is offering "Turf Time" at the Heritage Sports Center every Thursday from 4:30-6:30 PM starting April 26th and ending May 31st . This is an opportunity for youth ages 7-17 from across the city to come socialize and participate in organized game activities at the Duluth Heritage Center's Indoor Turf Facility. University of Minnesota Duluth Athletes, Parks Staff and Men as Peacemakers will assist youth groups and their adult leaders in character development activities and sports oriented games on the indoor Turf Facility.  A variety of equipment, participants and discussion topics makes this a fun and interesting opportunity for all involved who like active play with NO weather worries. Snack is provided.  The Heritage Sports Center is located at 120 South 30th Avenue West. All participants must be part of a group with an adult leader or parent who is able to assist and participate. This is a joint effort by Parks and Recreation, Boys and Girl's Club, Copeland Community Center, Neighborhood Youth Services and Men as Peacemakers. This activity is FREE.
