SUBJECT: Skating and Turf Time at Heritage Sports Center

Parks and Recreation Summer Turf Time and Skating at Heritage Sports Center

Parks and Recreation is offering "Summer Turf Time" and "Skating" next week at the Heritage Sports Center. Summer skating will take place on Wenesday, August 17th from 1:30-3:00 PM and Turf Time on Thursday, August 18th from 1:00-3:00 pm.

Turf Time is an opportunity for youth ages 7-17 from across the city to come socialize and participate in organized game activities at the Duluth Heritage Center's Indoor Turf Facility. At each session, participants are divided by age, ability and interests then teams are formed, and games conducted. Activities will include kickball, flag football, disc golf, soccer, parachutes, relays and obstacle coures.

The Heritage Sports Center is located at 120 South 30th Avenue West. Turf Time participants must be part of a group with an adult leader or parent who is encouraged to assist and participate. A healthy snack will be provided after the Turf Time session. 

Both activities are FREE.
