Public Information Meeting on Gas Utility Upgrades in Woodland Neighborhood is April 5

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth Public Works and Utilities department invites the public to attend an information meeting on Thursday, April 5th at 6 pm at the Woodland Community Recreation Center, 3211 Allendale Ave, concerning the replacement and upgrade of natural gas mains in the Woodland area. City staff will provide an overview of the project and be available for questions.

 

The project includes numerous replacements of small diameter pipes throughout the area as well as upgrading service to a new 6-inch plastic main in the following areas: on Woodland Avenue from St. Paul Avenue to Anoka Street; on Anoka Street from Woodland Ave to Rendle Avenue; on Rendle Avenue from Anoka to Austin; and on Austin Street from Rendle Avenue to Kolstad Avenue. Construction will take place in the summer and fall of 2018.
