Construction project to temporarily close 10th Ave East south of St. Luke's Hospital

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is notifying the public of the temporary closure of the lower section of 10th Ave East, approaching Superior Street. A contractor is working on a construction project at the St. Luke’s Lakeview Building at 1001 E Superior Street. This work requires that 10th Ave E (between Superior Street and the alley) be closed. Alley access will be maintained. The closure will last from November 16th to December 22nd. The sidewalk on the east side of 10th Ave will be closed but the west side will remain open to pedestrians.

 

Detour signs will be in place marking the detour route for motor vehicles. With the Christmas City of the North this Friday, motorists headed west from Superior Street should go north on 12th or 14th Ave East and take 1st Street.
