Street sweeping operations to occur on May 22-23 in several Duluth neighborhoods

 

Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth will be conducting spring street sweeping on May 22 and 23rd to clear the road of sand and grit from winter. Sweeping will start on 3rd Street at 21st Ave East then head west towards Mesabe Ave. The crews will then redirect their focus to 2nd and 1st Streets.

 

Street maintenance crews will be posting "no parking" signs along 3rd street, 2nd street and 1st Streets this Friday, May 19. Streets will be posted no parking during this project between the hours of 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Residents are asked to follow parking restrictions in order for staff to gain access to sweep parking lanes and to prevent ticketing and/or towing.
