Road construction planned for segment of Commonwealth Ave in Gary New Duluth

Public Meeting is May 11

 

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is hosting a public meeting regarding a proposed summer construction project for Commonwealth Ave which leads into Boy Scout Landing. The project aims to improve access to the river. The public meeting will be held 5:30 – 7:00 pm on May 11 in the Morgan Park Community Rec Center, 1242 88th Ave. West, Duluth MN.

 

The proposed project will involve complete reconstruction of Commonwealth Ave. from East Prescott Street to Boy Scout Landing (about 1 block). In addition to the reconstruction some utility work will also be completed. The road will be closed for a short period of time limiting river access and a detour set up.
