Mayor Larson to host community listening session,
City Hall in the City will be October 18
[Duluth, MN] - Mayor Emily Larson and City Councilor Barb Russ invite the public to attend "City Hall in the City," on October 18, 2016, one of a series of community listening sessions focused on providing residents with the chance to share ideas, concerns and needs with the Mayor and a Councilor. Attendees will get a chance to meet individually with the Mayor or Councilor Russ, with other City staff or express their issues in writing. This meeting is not designed to be a forum but rather is intended to allow residents to speak with ease and comfort directly to their elected officials.
The upcoming City Hall in the City session will take place on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 5:30 pm in the Harrison Community Center, 3002 West Third Street.
All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend. In addition, Mayor Larson will have art supplies for children to share their own ideas for the City. Drawings collected from the meeting will be hung in the Mayor’s office and shared with Councilor Russ.
Residents will have another opportunity to meet one-on-one with Mayor Larson and City Councilor Joel Sipress at the next City Hall in the City event to be held November 30 at Pilgrim Congregational Church. A public announcement will be issued prior to that listening session.
All residents are encouraged to participate.
