Through some of our free online job banks we connect local employers to the skills and qualities they are looking for in  employees at no cost.

This is where talented individuals can be matched with careers that fit their interests and goals. It’s the place where employers can instantly locate talent that is a great match for their latest openings.
an internet-based self-service system where employers and job seekers can find each other. Registration is encouraged because it allows full access to all the features of the system. This site is supported by Employer tax dollars and there is no additional fee to use this service.

Finding Employees

Operating a business in Duluth allows you to engage with a diverse community. The Duluth Workforce Center creates opportunity for employers to engage with a workforce that wants to work! The WorkForce Center bridges gaps that employers may experience when trying to train and or recruit staff. We provide a variety of services to save you time and money. At the workforce center we are the trainers,recruiters and the interviewers. We provide you with tools to post jobs, find skilled workers, and train workers.

Youth Program Work Experiences

Duluth Workforce Development is constantly working to increase the number of employer partners and work sites who will provide meaningful work experiences for our program participants. The YES Duluth program has funding available through (WIOA) to subsidize employment for eligible young adults to work in public and private organizations throughout Duluth, as well as to provide support and job counseling so it is a positive experience for all parties.  If you are interested in an opportunity to be a mentor and help shape the incoming workforce, please contact one of our YES Duluth Counselors.

Business Development

The City of Duluth's Business and Economic Development Department has a variety of services to support local employers.The workforce center also has a Business Services Representative that can save you time and money, increase your profitability and productivity, reduce liability and enhance your business all at no cost to you.Our local analysts provide update Data specific to Duluth's available and potential workforce (IE Wage data,Industry Trends, best human resource practices and information on unemployment insurance) To help you make informed decisions regarding your business.   

Financial Incentives

Learn about Incentives to help you reduce your federal tax liability, gain training wage reimbursement and pay wages! Our staff can asses your case and help you find programs or funding to work towards your financial success.
