"Special Olympics Minnesota has had the great fortune of partnering with Law Enforcement agencies across the state for over 30 years," said David Dorn, President and CEO of Special Olympics Minnesota. "This partnership has grown to one of the largest in the country. The men and women of law enforcement volunteer so much of their time to drive awareness and help raise the funds needed to fuel the great inclusive programing in our schools and communities for people with and without disabilities to play, live and build a community of inclusion together. We are really excited for this first ever partnership with Dunkin’ Donuts in Duluth. We have seen this partnership have great success in other states and are really excited to see it begin here in Minnesota!"
The LETR is the largest grass-roots fundraising program and public awareness vehicle for Special Olympics. Law enforcement officers from the 50 United States, 12 Canadian provinces and territories and 44 other countries carry the Flame of Hope™ in honor of Special Olympics athletes.
