Veterans Job Fair is July 20

 

[Duluth, MN] - The month of July has been proclaimed by Governor Mark Dayton as Veteran Hiring Month. Veterans make up 369,000 of our state population. Veterans have served our nation with integrity, bravery, and provided strong defense of our people and country. The Governor stated in his proclamation that "Veterans learn fast and possess many transferrable skills; have experience working with advanced technology; are proven leaders; have demonstrated teamwork; work well under pressure; and triumph over adversity."

 

Therefore, in support of veterans, the Duluth Workforce Development office is hosting a Veterans Job Fair on July 20 from 3-6 PM at 402 West First Street in downtown Duluth.   

 

Veterans can bring their resume and get a chance to meet with employers who are seeking out the talent and skills veterans possess. All veterans are invited to attend and registration is not required.
