ISSUED TO: Those desiring a picnic where it is anticipated that 40 or more persons will be in attendance.
PROCEDURE: Application for permit, with appropriate fees, is submitted to the Director of Parks and Recreation one week in advance of event. The director retains the authority to grant or deny such requests. The director may impose restrictions necessary to secure the peace and tranquility of the city's parks.
**Most permits can be issued in one week or less, depending on payment of fees.
**Picnic areas are limited--advance registration is strongly encouraged.
