Parking Permit (Resident)

NEW:  Permits are now handled by the Parking Division Office.

INITIAL CONTACT:  Duluth Police Department Parking Division, Ground Floor, City Hall, 411 W. 1st St., Duluth MN 55802. 

FORM:  Apply Online - Permit Parking Application    NOTE: Permits are in effect from September 1 to June 15 only.

FEE:  See Fee Schedule.  All permits are valid only within 500 feet of the property of the address of the resident.

Resident Permits - 1 per vehicle; maximum of 3 per dwelling unit.

Regular Visitor Permits - limit 1 per resident permit; maximum of 2 per dwelling unit

Special Visitor Permits - valid only within one week from the time that it is issued by the Parking Division and for not more than a period of 24 hours during such week.

ISSUED TO:  Residents who park vehicles on the street in the UMD, Denfeld Senior High School and East Senior High School permit zones from September 1 to June 15.

PROCEDURE:  Permits must be renewed yearly.  Residents are sent renewal applications in August of each year.
